1971 Ingersoll Timex Electric Mickey Mouse watch
The very last Mickey Mouse by Ingersoll Timex, closing the long historicall serie started in '33. Pre quartz watch powered by a battery. The Timex Electric Mickey Mouse watch was the first battery driven Mickey Watch which predates the onset of the quartz watch. The movement is in every way similar to the sprung movement, the difference being that the spring had been substituted by a small electric motor driving the mechanism. The electric's face diameter was larger than the 'Mod' and it came packaged in it's on well upholstered black plastic box with the legend both on the outside and inside lid 'Mickey Mouse Electric copyright W.D.P.'
The 1971 Electric Mickey Mouse watch comes in stainless steel and gold filled version. This gold filled watch is excellent condition with new original leatherband and gold colored Timex buckle .The original black watch box is also in excellent mint condition without scratches nor dents.
